Dharma Jaya Eyes to Expand Business to Bogor

The city-owned enterprise PD Dharma Jaya says will be a supplier of frozen beef and buffalo meat to several regions in Bogor District, West Java. It was stated, after receiving a visit by Bogor District administration BUMD, PD Pasar Tohaga, on Tuesday (22/10).

PD Dharma Jaya Business Director Mohamd Adam Ali Bhutto disclosed his party plans to review the concept of cooperation with PD Pasar Tohaga, as a step to mitigate risk.

"We ask for one to three points first as a pilot for the sale of frozen meat, especially in strategic locations and crowded, Bogor," he expressed.

He assessed they have good potential for business development, because of dense population. Moreover they control around 30 markets in 40 sub-districts.

"This is a moment for us to socialize that frozen meat is healthier and halal to the people there," he explained.

His side will also supply ground meat, rendang slice meat, sirloin slices, meatballs and local frozen meat if it is needed.

PD Pasars Tohaga President Director Haris Setiawan uttered this cooperation will support meet the needs of meat supply in Bogor District as it does not yet have an import quota.

"We also directly bought frozen meat from Dharma Jaya for testing the freezing of the meat," he closed.
